So I'm gonna lay on my friends couch and shop for another BMW on eBay.

This may be more responsible for yours and everyone else safety, but economically I don't know which could have greater financial consequences. Getting a DUI? or drunk shopping BMWs?

Sounds like a sound life choice to me. After watching Adrenalin , I am pretty proud to own a BMW. I do, however, kind-of-sort-of wan't to caution you not to buy an E46 or an E36 M3. Get a unique BMW.

Yes. They're absolutely boring and nobody should be interested in them. People should start looking at M6s and the newer f10 M5s.

Crap, you're right. Only the new M6s. Preferably the bangle M6. Those would be really striking and get attention. Those e24 M635csi sharks are just too old and maintenance stuffs.

Seriously though, I would kill for an M635csi in blue like the video below. I got to see one a few weeks ago and went apeshit while my friend just gave me a weird look and asked "what's so special about that old BMW?"

Only if you don't start calling people. I had an older couple call me about my truck one night last week pretty late. They said they were coming first thing the next morning with cash, and begged me not to let anyone else see it before they got here. Guess who never showed up?

Well, I was looking at E39 M5's, E24's which I really want now, and E28 535i's. Didn't buy anything last night lol, just looking.

Adrenalin was amazing, the activities done after watching it was what rendered me unable to drive haha.

I have an E39 530, and love it. I don't think I'd want an E39 M5 though. I'd want an E28 or E34 M5. Or an M635csi. But really a Z1. Yah, I want a Z1.

Why no M5? 530i is what i would get if not M5. That I6 is nice, 525i is just a bit too slow for me.

What I would really want is a 635csi. I'm in love with E24's..

I get a 3.5L I6 (.5L larger than the 525), a 5spd manual, and, where I think It really counts, an aluminum front subframe and rack and pinion steering where the M5 and 540 have to have a steel front subframe to support the extra weight of the v8, and due to the size of the V8, have to have reciprocating ball steering because rack and pinion won't fit. And 228 bhp/220 lbft is good enough for the type of driving I do and can take me quite quickly enough to well above 120 mph.

tl;dr - enough power to suit my needs plus lower weight in the front end and more precise steering. Oh, and I don't want to have to buy the special oil you have to use on the M5 that only BMW makes is is ridiculously expensive.
